About

The signals, before the headlines.

Bellwether Wire is a distress-intelligence media brand. We break down how companies actually collapse, and the early warnings that called each one first, with the evidence on screen.

The warning signs are almost always public for months before the headline lands. Going-concern flags. Covenant breaches. WARN notices. Debt walls with a date on them. We read those signals while they still mean something.

The method

Credibility is the whole point.

This is a your-money-or-your-life subject. A single unsourced claim costs more than a missed upload. So every episode clears the same gate.

01

Primary sources, on screen

Every factual claim traces to an SEC filing, a court docket, or a WARN notice, and we show it. If we can't source it, we cut it.

02

The going-concern rule

A going-concern signal counts only when it appears in a company's own periodic filing, a 10-K or 10-Q, never boilerplate from a bankruptcy 8-K or a news article.

03

Confirmed collapses only

We cover companies that have already filed or failed. We do not predict or out live companies. The public record is the story.

04

Reproducible

Every figure is auditable. Pull the same filing by its CIK and check the number yourself.

The format

One story, told properly

Each collapse becomes a documentary on YouTube, a set of short clips, and a weekly newsletter, The Pre-Filing. The signature visual is a branded chart that annotates the exact signal that called the collapse.

Generic finance channels narrate from memory. We show the real document. That is the difference, and the reason to trust the number.

Read the collapse before the headline does.

Not financial advice. Every figure traced to primary sources (SEC filings, court records).
